Science and the Environment Summary

The major goal of environmental science is to understand and solve environmental problems.  Ecologry studies the interactions of organisms with each other and their nonliving environment. Environmental science is the study of how humans interact with the environment.

Major Fields of study that contribute to Enviromental Science.

    • Microbiology is the study of microorganisms.

    • Ecology is the study of how organisms interact with their enviroment and each other.

    • Geology is the study of earth and how it works.

    • Paleontology is the srudy of fossiand ancient life.
