Smithville Public Schools

Theresa Keiss is a veteran English Teacher here at Smithville High School. She’s married to Meryle Keiss and together they share: three sons, three daughters in-law, and nine grandchildren. She graduated with her Masters degree in Education from Southeastern University and moved to Smithville in 1975. Her hobbies include Reading and Crafts. When asked the question, “If you could tell your students one thing that they will always remember, what would that be?” Her response was, “ Choices have consequences, be sure to make choices that you can be satisfied with those consequences. It doesn't matter what you have in this life, if you aren't prepared for the next.
