Smithville Public Schools

Jake Harris is another awesome new addition to the Smithville Team! This is his first year teaching History, Economics along with coaching Junior High and High School Baseball. Jake is originally from Houston, TX. He is married to Haley and together they share 2 children . Jake's favorite hobbies are baseball, golf and duck hunting. When asked if he could tell his students one thing that they will always remember, his response was, " Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work." He also added the quote, ''Successful and unsuccessful people do not vary greatly in their abilities. They vary in their desires to reach potential."- John Maxwell
