Smithville Public Schools

Ellen Johnson has been in education for 35 years. Graduating from SOSU with her bachelor's degree and then from ECU with her master's degree. Ellen is has spent the majority of her teaching career in elementary education as well as serving as High School Counselor. I'm sure it's safe to say that you have either been taught by or your child has been taught by Mrs.Johnson here at Smithville Schools, the memories of her reading books to the class such as "Hank the Cowdog" will never fade.  Ellen is happily married with two children and 7 grandchildren. Her favorite hobbies include working in her yard and hanging out with her grandkids.  When asked the questions, "if you could tell your students one thing they will always remember what would it be"? Her response was, " Don't be afraid to ask questions."
