The 3rd graders have been learning about the Statue of Liberty. Today they did an experiment to see how it turned to green.








Choctaw Nation Health Services will be at the Smithville School Administration Building, Tuesday, October 15th at 9am to provide flu shots for students, staff, and community members. Forms are being sent home today (10-11). If you would like your child to receive a flu shot please send fill out the form and send it back with your child. Extra forms will be available for staff and community members on Tuesday.
*Nobody will receive a vaccine without parent consent and a form being filled out.

A local church is gathering supplies to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene. The following items are in highest demand: toboggan/beanie hats, gloves, blankets, tarps, and bungee cords.
If you would like to help with this relief effort, you are welcome to bring any of the above items to the High School or Elementary Offices through this Thursday, October 10th. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Former Harlem Globetrotter, Nick "Motivator" Moore will be on campus Thursday, October 10th to deliver a motivational speech and presentation to the students and staff. We are excited to welcome him to our campus!
