
Smithville Elementary and Middle School showed they are BRAVE enough to say no to drugs by wearing their best Smithville Braves gear today. We had a pep rally, 3rd & 4th grade girls and boys won their basketball games against Albion, and we had a wonderful presentation from McCurtain Co EMS. We're 100% B.A.D. (Braves Against Drugs).

Red Ribbon Week kicked off at the High School today with "Follow your dreams not drugs" Everyone got to wear their pajama's to school. We started the day with a pancake breakfast then ended things with a presentation from McCurtain County EMS. It's going to be a fun filled week!

Smithville FFA members competed at the state contest of opening/closing ceremonies in Stillwater today. They did not make the finals but we are very proud of the way they represent our school and program!

Big congratulations goes out to the crew of Smithville FFA! Opening/closing ceremonies finished 3 and 5. And the team of Logan Stowe, Bryan Conley, Natalie Pollard, Karsyn Perrin, Allie Boles, and Belicia Kaouk qualified for the State contest next week. Also we had Logan Stowe win the creed speaking contest with Brianna Youngblood finishing 3rd, Lizzi Polk finishing 4, and Lane Johnson finishing 5th place. Also Bryan Conley finished 3rd in greenhand quiz Karsyn Perrin 6th place and Lane Johnson finished 8th. Congrats to all and good luck next week at state!

Update on Krispy Kreme Coffee Order.....
The warehouse is having trouble getting the coffee in stock and to the stores right now. I have been in contact with the store manager at Tulsa, and he is trying to get our order in. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused! We will get the coffee to you ASAP. I appreciate your understanding as this was unexpected. We appreciate the community's support of our school's fundraisers and sincerely apologize! I will update when I know more!

Smithville Schools: The games at Shady Point on. 10-7-21(today) will start at 4pm and be played as follows:
3/4 girls,
5/6 girls,
3/4 boys, and
5/6 boys

Parents, you may already be aware at this time but a majority of the pictures returned from picture day are blurry or have other issues. This has been addressed with the company and they will be retouching all photos and sending them back. The link that was emailed to you for you to order pictures will not work at this current time. If you ordered pictures and there was an issue with your photo, don't worry they will be replaced!
