Smithville High School would like to congratulate senior Zaden Crawford on his choice to sign with Murray State College! Zaden will attend Murray State College in the fall and will represent the Rodeo Team as a Team Roper. We are proud of you and wish you the best in the next chapter of your life!!

15 students were rewarded with ice cream at Three Rivers Meat Co. today for having perfect attendance the 2nd 9 weeks. Way to show up, kiddos. We are proud of you!

Spring Picture Order Due Date: Spring picture proofs were sent home recently with a due date of March 19th. This was printed before anyone realized we were on Spring Break. If you wish to order your child’s pictures by sending them back to the school, we will extend the due date until Tuesday, March 25th. You may also order online at anytime through Heritage Portraits website. Sorry for the confusion!

24 3rd-8th graders participated in the McCurtain County Curriculum contest today in Idabel. The awards assembly will be Thursday, March 13th, at 1:30 PM, live on the Denison Elementary School Group Facebook page. The link for the group is https://www.facebook.com/share/g/18uq26U7fU/. I have updated the list below. ** 17 students from the high school traveled to Carl Albert State College today to compete in the annual Scholastic Contest. They took a variety of tests and represented our school very well! The following students placed in their division and will compete at the state level in May.
