Spring Picture Order Due Date:
Spring picture proofs were sent home recently with a due date of March 19th. This was printed before anyone realized we were on Spring Break. If you wish to order your child’s pictures by sending them back to the school, we will extend the due date until Tuesday, March 25th. You may also order online at anytime through Heritage Portraits website.

24 3rd-8th graders participated in the McCurtain County Curriculum contest today in Idabel. 17 students from the high school traveled to Carl Albert State College today to compete in the annual Scholastic Contest. They took a variety of tests and represented our school very well! The following students placed in their division and will compete at the state level in May. Smithville School placed 3rd in Division 1 overall!!

state basketball games..
The OKC Fairgrounds has a clear-bag policy and walk-through scanners in place for the OSSAA State Tournaments to be held in the Jim Norick Arena. The approved clear plastic tote size is a maximum of 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. The policy will allow nontransparent clutch wallets that are no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches, clear fanny packs and clear crossbody bags. Bags that are necessary for medical equipment will be searched at each gate. No other bags or purses including diaper bags will be permitted and the limit on bags is one per person.

Emblems or Placecards
Signs
Thundersticks
Balloons
Laser Lights
Megaphones
Foam Fingers
Fatheads
Flags
Any other items that may be a distraction to the participants in the game or to the other fans.
