For guardians the ability to sign in was maybe difficult yesterday while using "Rooms", however the glitch in the APP was resolved last night and you should be able to sign in now to view announcements sent by coaches or teachers. One thing that might need to be done will be updating your Smithville School APP to make sign in more effective. Thank you for your understanding during this time of navigating through the new format of communication.

Dear Parents and Guardians:
In an effort to comply with the Oklahoma State Law concerning communication with students by school personnel, Smithville Public Schools will begin to use the “Rooms” feature of our school’s app when communicating with our students. We will be teaching our students how to use the app to contact their teachers, coaches, and counselors. We also encourage parents and guardians to download the app and familiarize yourself with the features that are offered to help you be aware of class announcements and things that are happening in the classroom, on the field, or in the gymnasium. Attached, you will find steps to get signed up for Rooms as well as top tips for students and guardians to help you get started with Rooms. Should you have any questions, please contact us at 580-244-3281.
